Our waterfront structural engineering firm has an immediate
opening(s) for a Civil/ Structural Engineer/ Diver with 0-10 years of
experience. Qualifications for this position include a B.S. in Civil
engineering with a strong structural background, EIT or PE certification,
commercial diving certification (ADC or equivalent or willingness to train),
the desire to work in and around the water and waterfront during all seasons,
familiarity with structural analysis software such as STAAD, and basic
knowledge of surveying. The assignment will involve project engineering and /or
project management for a mix of projects located on the waterfront. The work
will involve field and office engineering work with the potential for some
travel within the CONUS or overseas. The work also involves providing
underwater inspection services. Diving experience related to underwater
inspection will be required. Bridge inspector certification is a plus. Our firm
provides professional engineering services to private, and state and federal
clients related to the design and rehabilitation of piers, docks, marinas, dry
docks, seawalls, ferry terminals, public boat landings, bridges and any other
structure that can be found on the waterfront.
