Quality Assurance Program

The Quality Assurance Program at Childs Engineering is based around the strong hierarchical system that is in place. The Principle-in-Charge of the contract will remain consistent throughout the contract, and each task will be managed by a Project Manager who has worked on many similar projects. All Project Engineers will have also worked on other similar projects for the Navy. By keeping this hierarchy all personnel will be familiar with the process. This allows for the quality to be kept consistent, and by working with the same personnel, allows the Project Manager to identify the best Project Engineers to work on different tasks. The Project Managers work closely with the Project Engineers to make sure that the end product is consistent with the task, and that the work is to a high standard. In turn, once milestones are reached, the Project Manager with review the task with the Principle-in-Charge. This in-line quality control is also paired with periodic peer reviews and internal audit of the work to make sure that the work is consistent throughout the company.
